McKenzie Green was born out of decades of experience and a personal commitment to the idea that keeping ourselves and our personal environments clean and healthy was simpler than most of us could imagine and did not require an endless parade of generally toxic and dangerous chemicals through our kitchen, bathroom and laundry rooms.  Protecting our children’s and our own health, the health of our pets and local wildlife, rivers, streams, fields and forests or the health of our magnificent oceans, the solutions are the same. Nature’s own best practices demonstrate a pristine and healthy environment. Our job is to emulate, educate and promote deeper understanding of natural systems, rather than despoil them.

McKenzie Green is dedicated to bringing you the safest, healthiest and most effective personal care and home cleaning products anywhere with no toxic ingredients, no petrochemicals, no synthetics and the smallest and shortest environmental footprint – (So any residues are not environmentally persistent and dissolve quickly back into naturally biodegradable substances, like oxygen and water, for example…)

McKenzie Green products get the job done leaving nothing but a healthy clean in their wake.  No harmful residues or by-products of their work. Our mission is to transform the way we care for ourselves, our immediate environment and the earth, so that our actions support health and life at every level.

McKenzie Green is named for what is known as one of the cleanest rivers in the United States, the McKenzie, flowing out of the Cascades from its source at Clear Lake.

This glorious clear and fast moving river inspires us every day in our work and provides an impetus to do more to protect all the rivers of the world, large and small. McKenzie Green donates a portion of all profits to Oregon Wild and the McKenzie River Trust to support ongoing preservation of clean rivers and wild spaces in Oregon.
